Polygel launches ThermoActive at PBATS meeting
The PBATS meeting was a great place to launch the ThermoActive Hot/Cold Compression Therapy supports by PolyGel into Major League Baseball.
John Miller from Icon Medical did a ten minute PowerPoint presentation for all of the athletic trainers pointing out the highlights of the products. Following his PowerPoint presentation the athletic trainers from all of the teams met with John and Michael Banks from PolyGel and were given a personal demonstration
Most of the althletic trainers were fit with various supports and they were excited about the many positive aspects of the supports. The ability to use these products for hot and cold along with the circumferential pressure that it applies was a grand slam with the athletic trainers. The ease of donning the supports was also an important feature
The support from the athletic trainers and their eagerness to bring the ThermoActive products into Spring Training camps is exciting for Icon Medical as well as the manufacturer PolyGel. We will continue to work closely with the professional athletic trainers in baseball as well as other sports as we continue to further develop our products and add additional sizes to fit some of the larger athletes.
