Post arthroscopic or open shoulder surgery I apply the ThermoActive™ Shoulder Support. I like the fact that it is easy to fit over the post operative dressing, conforms well to the patients body contour and can be used for either the left or right shoulders. The pump system provides uniform compression of this comfortable gel pack that can be used in cold or warm modes.
After my arthroscopic and open knee procedures I use the ThermoActive™ Knee Support. This is particularly beneficial after Total Knee replacement. The optional extension straps improve ease of application over other brands and better fit in large patients. The adjustable straps combined with the compression pump allows the user to feel secure walking with the support of the device.
In my office practice I like the fact that the Polygel ThermoActive™ brace and support system offers a complete off the shelf product line of that has the same technology in each product but is adaptable to specific patient needs.
